Great iPhone BlackBerry Droid Smart Dialing Tip
iPhone® BlackBerry®, and Droid® Tip
Smart Dialing Saves Time
Here is an amazingly simple way to save thousands of keystrokes per year. Program your SmartPhone to auto-dial your teleconference passcode number automatically.
- Create an Outlook, Gmail or Lotus Notes Contact for your teleconference or voicemail number.
- After the teleconference number — type the letter ‘p’ three times and then type in the passcode number. Then save the number. ’P’ stands for pause.
- Once you synchronize your contacts to your phone — the phone will automatically dial the passcode after pausing for the teleconference line to answer your call.
- Add power to this strategy by making this number a speed dial. Now you can log into your teleconference number by hitting one key on your phone!

BlackBerry Writing Tips – Apostrophe Now!
Here’s a fantastic BlackBerry Writing tip: Remember that BlackBerry and iPhone’s add apostrophes for you. So remember NOT to waste time thumbing them in.
For example when you type I’m – just type Im and BlackBerry will add the punctuation.
Open up an email and try these: cant, wont, dont, hes, shes, wasnt. The only thing that doesn’t work (doesnt does work!) are words that are real words. So for example…. we’ll won’t work because well is a word. But cant isn’t a word so it does work!
UUUUhhh…isnt….isn’t a word either…so it works too!
